The Ann Arboroffice of SmithGroupis looking for aMarketing Coordinatorto join our team. SmithGroup has been named one of Southeast Michigan's Top Workplaces by the Detroit Free Press for10 consecutive years!

This role will support the Marketing and Communications function by performing duties which may include awards and photography, events, thought leadership, and communication activities and proposal support.

Working with us, you will:

  • Assist with developing award content for the region.

  • Collaborate with project teams to support the production of award narratives, graphics, and layouts.

  • Attend photo/video shoots and support SmithGroup and photographer with staging.

  • Support the marketing team with other tasks as needed including photographer and videographer research.

  • Work with Regional Marketing Manager and communications team to support the development of thought leadership content for key office/region staff.

  • Support communication team with preparation of assets for communication tactics (e.g., draft social media content, secure images, etc.).

  • Support region/office internal communication needs including email and SharePoint announcements, and presentation development.

  • Assist with coordinating regional events.

  • Support the drafting of project stories for use in project sheets, qualifications and proposals.

  • Assist in writing other marketing collateral, as needed.

An ideal candidate has:

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of InDesign and OpenAsset preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of marketing fundamentals.

  • Basic understanding of the principles of layout and graphic as they relate to the development of marketing and sales collateral.

  • Excellent time and project management skills, passion for details and ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
