Your Role

The Application Developer, Consultant falls under the Applications Dev Support & Continuous Integration team. The Application Developer, Consultant will report to the Manager, IT Development. In this role you will follow best software development practices in order to analyze product requirements. Remote work permitted within select states within the U.S., but must be available to come into the office when needed.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Analyze business/product requirements
• Design technical solutions
• Implement solutions
• Write technical design documents
• Problem solving, root cause analysis, and remediation solutions
• Follow software development best practices
  

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field
• Requires 5 years of experience as an Application Developer, Consultant or other role in IT
• Must have 5 years of experience with the following:
  • Web application development
  • Designing and developing portal applications and portlets
  • Developing with Java frameworks and application development technologies, for example, Java/JEE, Servlets
  • Working with application servers, for example IBM Websphere Application server, Tomcat, and JBoss
  • Implemented Web UI, using HTML/CSS/Javascript; using Databases, such as Oracle, DB2, MS-SQL server
  • Developing or integrating with API such as SOAP or REST
  • Project deployment on production involving security standards and practices, such as OWASP, PCI, Authentication, SSO, and SAML
  • Working in Agile teams

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $ 131739.00 to $ 178200.00 for California.
