The Security Systems Applications Specialist is responsible for the build and implementation of security systems applications to ensure successful project completion and optimization for the client.
How You Will Make an Impact:
*Programming of client's Global Security Systems & Technology Systems (Access Control, Video Management, Cameras, Intercoms, Key Management, etc) which will coincide with an aggressive build schedule. Provides support and technical training on hardware and software to end users.
*Provides support and technical training on hardware and software to end users.
*System Support to the Integrators/LSPs in the field.
*Project management of Integrator/LSP resources in the field coordinating testing and commissioning of projects. System Support to the Integrators/LSPs in the field.
*Troubleshooting client's Security technologies (Access Control, Video Management systems Mac, Intercoms, key management, etc.).
*Some limited PC/MAC support on and Windows software and hardware for end users via phone, email will be required occasionally.
*Enforce/follow documented installation standards and New Builds processes such as DHCP reservations, MAC White listing, Load Sheets and other New builds documentation as well as any other Security Specific techniques.
*Assists in basic network troubleshooting.
*Comprehensive knowledge of Windows.
*Clear understanding of Network fundamentals such as Name Resolution, DHCP, TCP/IP, subnetting, IPv6, firewalls.
*Familiar with perimeter and physical security concepts, access control and video management systems.
*Hands-on troubleshooting physical security hardware, network cabling, etc.
*Understands the standards and practices that go into an Intermediate Distribution Frame or Equipment room.
*Physical Security Hardware: Access Control Panels; IP Cameras; Sensors; Electric Locks.
*Basic understanding of Databases and concepts around database queries.
*Basic understanding of integrations between systems, ability to demonstrate basic concepts.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
* Minimum 5 years experience with; (Access Control, Video Management, Cameras, Intercoms, Key Management, Network Troubleshooting, PC/MAC Support, or Programming of GSST Systems (Access Control, Video Management, Cameras, Intercoms, Key Management, etc).
*Access Control Systems: Enterprise Software House CCure 9000 (must have or received Certification within 90 days of hire).
*Video Management Systems: Advanced Genetec/Certification is a plus
*Experience with either managing or leading individuals.
Estimated Pay Range: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $105,000/Yr. - USD $118,000/Yr. and is an Exempt role. Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
