This role is not typical tele sales positions. It is a mixture of account management, sales, and business development. It is quality over the quantity that matters to us!
Core objective of this role is to support Shockwave Medical in achieving the goals and objectives they represent by contacting customers through remote channels, mainly telephone, video conferencing and other platforms.
Essential Job Functions
  • Taking responsibility of a defined region with an assigned pool of Shockwave Medical customers, including existing and potential accounts.
  • Delivering remote channel contacts with the focus on identifying business opportunities and to enhance sales results.
  • Proactively contacting the assigned customers on a regular basis, mainly by phone, to promote selected products and services.
  • Planning, preparing and driving engagement with the customers, getting commitment to buy, negotiating and closing successful deals.
  • Building relationships with other areas of the internal business such as Customer Services and Quotes.
  • Participating to internal team projects, sales meetings, training programs and conventions.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in the medical device market, particularly interventional peripheral and coronary, with good clinical experience.
  • Strong practical commercial execution background.
  • Fluency in German (mother language) and English.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and meet customer needs throughout the sales process.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to execute sales strategies effectively.
  • Proven track record of problem-solving through data analysis and adherence to company procedures.
  • Good knowledge about medical device market situation (competitor activities, pricing etc.)
  • Proactive approach to challenges and a collaborative mindset to foster teamwork and drive results.
