Performance Contracting is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker for its Benicia Scaffolding operations in Benicia, CA. Job duties may include:

Assist in warehouse functions consisting of order pulling, truck loading, packaging, shipping, receiving and material handling
• Operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner
• Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
• Determine appropriate places for storage assuring that stocking and stacking conforms to safety procedures and product protection requirements
• Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, dry, and free from debris
• On-the-job training offered

Salary range: $22.50-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

This position is safety-sensitive.

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to perform basic math
• No previous experience necessary
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time and physically perform assigned tasks
• Ability to work in team environment
• Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Forklift certification is a plus
• Experience in warehousing or logisitics preferred
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Local to the Bay Area preferred
