UCSF Division of Palliative Medicine
Division of Palliative Medicine -Research Faculty Member

Job details:
The Division of Palliative Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is recruiting for a Research Faculty Member. The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in either the Adjunct or In Residence series.

Candidates must possess an PhD (or equivalent degree), appropriate research training, and a research focus in palliative care.

Candidates are expected to have or acquire career development award funding as appropriate to their rank and ultimately to develop an independent research program. In addition to expanding their own research program, the faculty member will be expected to collaborate with colleagues within and outside the Division of Palliative Medicine within and outside UCSF; to mentor students, trainees, and other faculty; and to contribute to the academic community of the DPM and UCSF.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $121,100-$320,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
