Job Summary:
Key contributor to the success of our philanthropy efforts by writing engaging and persuasive materials that resonate with current and prospective donors. Works collaboratively to ensure consistency in messaging and design, ultimately enhancing the donor experience and contributing to the organization's growth.
Primary Duties:
Collaborate with the communication and philanthropy teams to gather content, success stories, and data for use in collateral materials.
Leads proposal development processes and proposal response teams, serving as overall goal owner, ensuring timely and efficient submission of quality proposals.
Serves as a primary writer, drafting, editing, and ensuring final production of proposal for submission to donor.
Ensure accuracy, relevance, and compelling storytelling in all materials.
Writes and edits philanthropy materials including, as necessary, service line or project fact sheets, case statements.
Creates gift agreements from standardized template.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree Required
3-4 years healthcare marketing, communications or related field Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present and deliver information effectively; ability to interact with a wide variety of communication/work styles
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative as appropriate
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to synthesize, analyze, critique and offer recommendations
Capable of handling proprietary information and working with sensitive material
Experience with graphic design
