The Opportunity

We are looking for exceptional talent to join Adobe as Director, DEI Advisory. They will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies and initiatives. As the primary advisor to senior leadership, this leader will guide them in embedding DEI principles into all aspects of our organization's culture, policies, and practices. They will collaborate across HR, legal, compensation, talent development, and talent acquisition to drive systemic change and build an environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to do their best work. Additionally, the Director will oversee global compliance with relevant DEI regulations and guidelines, ensuring Adobe's practices align with legal requirements and industry standards. The successful candidate will possess a proven background in DEI leadership, excellent communication and social skills, and a demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics to achieve tangible DEI outcomes.

What you'll Do

  • Build and implement a comprehensive DEI advisory strategy ensuring the integration of DEI into key HR policies, practices, and systems impacting hiring, retention, and development/advancement in support of Adobe's DEI workforce efforts.

  • Effectively navigate and adhere to DEI global regulatory frameworks, particularly focusing on key mandates and anti-discrimination laws applicable across various international jurisdictions.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to employees and leadership on DEI standards, policies, and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate DEI principles into all aspects of the organization's operations, including hiring, training, promotion, and retention practices.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on DEI matters, staying abreast of current trends, research, and standards to continuously evolve and enhance Adobe's DEI workforce efforts.

  • Create and implement processes and systems to measure and track progress against Adobe's DEI aspirational goals.

  • Partner with Human Resources, Legal, and other departments to ensure alignment of DEI compliance efforts with organizational objectives.

  • Prepare and deliver reports on DEI initiatives, progress, and compliance to executive leadership and regulatory authorities as required.

What you need to succeed

  • 12+ years of experience in HR and/or diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on strategy development, implementation, and management.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR and/or DEI initiatives in a corporate setting, preferably within a regulated industry.

  • Proven expertise in navigating and aligning with DEI global regulatory frameworks, focusing on key mandates such as those outlined by Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC), and other pertinent anti-discrimination laws.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage, and influence team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving results and achieving objectives.

  • Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Experience working in a global or multi-cultural environment is a plus.

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace culture.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $142,500 -- $289,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
