How You'll Perform the Role

The Human Resources Generalist will support the Corporate Staffing team(s) with managing their talent strategy, succession planning & performance management, training & organizational development and employee relations. This person will be responsible to co-lead cross-functional business partners with Social Workplace and Human Resource compliance audits and will be responsible for the administration processes of the compliance team.

  • Proactively reviews and refreshes social workplace policies as required by social workplace association to ensure alignment with current audit standards. Continually gages existing policies to meet the social workplace standard requirements and makes recommendations to the team.
  • Provides training, education and support to business partners within social workplace and HR compliance requirements.
  • Assists in the response to escalated instances of non-compliance, more complex inquiries, or requests for specific information regarding compliance related obligations; explain and clarify compliance obligations, processes, and procedures to the business partners.
  • Assists with development of the social workplace audit requirements.
  • Updates and reports the compliance programs dashboard.
  • Schedules SWA & HR compliance audits within the necessary timeframe on the behalf of the operations.
  • Maintains customer systems with updates and membership payment requirements to include completion of Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ).
  • Maintains confidentiality in discussion of complex inquiries and provide resources for policy social workplace and HR compliance program.
  • Ensures research review is conducted with plant supplemental policies/handbooks within the consistency of the organization's objectives within state/federal regulations. Supports program delivery and promote efficiency and effectiveness in HR practices.
  • Assists in communicating company social workplace policies and procedures.
  • Leads specific initiatives such as onsite/off site culture surveys, contract translations, engagement surveys, and/or plant recruitment events.
  • Manages and conduct thorough investigations of high-risk, sensitive workplace cases to include fraud, theft, harassment, retaliation, etc. received through employee ethics reporting site and summarize the investigation.
  • Works as an interim site Human Resources Manager with recruiting, employee relations and all other day to day HR support activities while maintaining compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations (state & federal).

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources, or a combination of education and 3-5+ years of work-related experience required
  • Experience interpreting, applying, and explaining complex policies, processes, or programs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly analytical, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-motivating and driven with managing priorities.
  • Experience collaborating on projects with individual teams and business leaders.
  • Experience working with confidential data and information and adhering to privacy expectations and policies.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred
