The Enterprise Data Integration Specialist position will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data flow and integration across our various systems and platforms, enhancing our data-driven decision-making processes. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to integrate data across multiple systems and platforms within our organization. You will work closely with IT professionals and business stakeholders to understand data needs, design integration solutions, and ensure the accuracy and accessibility of data. Your expertise will support our objectives of improving operational efficiency, enhancing data quality, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical lead in evaluation, selection and implementation of standard data integration tools and platforms across the enterprise.
  • Design, develop, and implement data integration processes across on-premise, cloud-based systems, and platforms as well as within and across organizational boundaries.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business units to identify integration needs and define system specifications.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of data integration projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes, including data flow diagrams, architecture designs, and specifications.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with data governance, privacy, and security policies and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and practices to improve data integration efforts.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in data integration, data management, and related technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field with 7-10 years of experience in enterprise level information technology roles. Biotech, Pharma, Med Device, Life Science background preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with designing, implementing, and managing data integration solutions across various platforms and data sources.
  • Proficiency with data integration tools , ETLs, and platforms (e.g., Informatica, Workato, Talend, MuleSoft) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with ADP, NetSuite, Salesforce, LIMS, Concur, ServiceNow, etc. Systems integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with API management, web services, and middleware technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their data services.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality management practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
