The Program Director is responsible for managing an assigned group of hospitals to recruit new customers and retain current customers, move hospitals to Performance Achievement Status through account management, plan and implement workshops and events and facilitate effective operations across the team. The position is responsible for increasing participation through engaging new customers in territories not currently reached and retain those customers through consistent account management and the provision of specific education to foster measure improvement.

Required Skills
  • B.S degree in Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of healthcare quality improvement
  • Knowledge of marketing and consultative sales
  • Abilty to develop effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external customers including field staff, hospitals, payers, suppliers, QIO;s, and federal, state and local agencies
  • Intellectual flexibility and the ability to learn and apply new skills quickly
  • Familiarity with strategic planning and budgeting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of one year experience in a hospital/healthcare setting (QI, RN, Case Management or other clinical field), knowledge of public health a plus
  • Minimum of two years project and account management experience
